Almost all products sold at the store come from a place called Colorado Cures. All products are tested by a third party lab to ensure all products are legal under Tennessee law and to let customers know they are getting what they pay for, he said.
Earlier this year, the Food and Drug Administration approved an epilepsy drug containing purified cannabidiol oil, and the DEA rescheduled that specific drug as a Schedule V, according to an agency statement from September.
There are three tiers of products offered at the store. The first tier contains only CBD oil, the second tier contains compounds found in the marijuana plant minus THC, and the third tier has all those compounds and a very small amount of THC. Cottongim said the staff at CBD Plus would be able to help customers choose which compound may be right for them. Products offered at the store include sublingual products that go under the tongue, CBD-infused gummies, coffee, tea, lotions and some CBD flower that can be smoked.
They also offer sublingual products for dogs and cats along with CBD-infused dog treats. For now, there are no plans to offer industrial hemp-based products such as backpacks or clothing.
