Also, the delivery guy was super considerate-he had a mask on, put the box on top of what must have been a mini insulated heated "cooler", rang the doorbell, then stepped 6 feet back and let me know to just take the top box. Awesome late night sweet treats if a slice of pizza isn't for you.

Awesome late night sweet treats if a slice of pizza isn't for you. That being said, the idea of a late night warm cookie is still such a treat. Good spot for kids I think. The cookies are good and so is the icecream but the experience has been horrible.
The staff always messes up the orders specially when it's ordered to go - prepare to get the wrong cookies all the time. Their triple chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk and chocolate chips are all amazing but it's not worth waiting in the line for hours and then get the wrong cookie. The staff is not even sorry when you tell them.
Also remember it's always crowded so not saying the taste is bad but the service definitely is horrible. Not a bad place, but not the best cookie I've ever had either. They deliver until 3am. Insomnia serves up warm, delicious cookies in a variety of flavors. On this particular occasion, I got the peanut butter chip and double chocolate chunk. Both were good, but next time I plan to get the peanut butter cup deluxe! Just a tip: If you go wearing your costume on Halloween, they'll give you a free cookie!
Stopped in for a cookie 'wich with my son and nephew around They didn't have enough sugar cookies for two 'wiches, which is fine, things run out. However the lady behind the counter was awful. It appeared she really didn't want to be there and she was letting us know. She had horrible customer service, didn't smile, and even became argumentative. The girl working was the worst employee I've seen in quite some time at a counter, coffee shop, deli or restaurant. We stopped in and there were two employees upfront She was awful.
No hello, no can I help you, no thank you We placed our order and as she just stood there, placed our money on the counter. We got his lecture about disrespecting her After she said that, I just stared at her ungloved hand was handling my cookies.
Sadly, she lost business for them as we went in to ship cookies back to Chicago. I'm sure the owners can find better help than this. She doesn't represent the franchise or company well. Th cookies and ice cream are absolutely delicious. They also deliver and really late times which is great, but there was one time i ordered delivery and after getting nothing for an hour i called and it haven't left the store yet.
Besides this time, i've also is a great experience going in store. The cookies were good. Soft but tasty. The service was ok. Waiter was nice and did his job. The lemon white chocolate chip was great.
Not much to expect, but they delivered. The cookies were good too! I also shared these cookies with a friend and we both agreed that the Double Chocolate Chunk was the best, and the Double Chocolate Mint was good as well. The Chocolate Chunk my friend said taste the same as the chocolate chip cookies from McDonald's - ouch!
Although the tastes were off, all of the cookies were warm, soft, and gooey. I would give this company 2 stars because I believe their cookies are overpriced as they are not out-of-this-world-amazing, but I added a star because the cookies were good and finding parking was fairly easy. I probably will not be coming back because it was a 30min drive, and it makes more sense to just buy cookies from McDonald's since the taste factor is similar and the cost is cheaper.
We got tired and they still weren't here by AM so I called trying to cancel and they would not let me. When I checked the tracking, it went from "baking" to "out for delivery".
We waited 20 more minutes only for it to go back to "baking". Way too long, too expensive and fell asleep before they got here. I would get my cookies warm and a cup full of ice cream, yum! Incomparable cookies. Absolutely amazing. But they messed up my order 3 times consecutively I've been to the one in Philadelphia so I had to go here. The staff was very nice and pleasant.
If you go, you are paying a lot more than Giant's bakery. Sure you are paying somewhat for the novelty aspect but their cookies really are that good in my opinion. I ordered a S'mores cookiewhiche with vanilla ice cream. Where else can you get that or a cookie a la mode?? Fun and delicious served warm. Delicious cookies, terrible customer service. I went to insomnia cookies and ordered a chocolate chip cookie and wanted a cold water to go with my order.
When I looked into the refrigerator behind the counter I noticed there were no waters inside. J asked the woman at the counter if there were any more waters. She rudely responded "you have to pay for those". I wasn't asking about prices I was simply asking if they had anymore left. She continued to have attitude for the rest of my order. While I love their cookies I will not be returning if I see the same woman behind the counter.
I typically don't write reviews on places but I just had to for Insomnia cookie in WC. My experience was less enjoyable on top of the fact that I was given the wrong cookies and some were even burnt. I went over the weekend during the day while they were empty and two girls working the counter were uninviting and uninterested while taking my order. Like I said they messed up two of the six cookies I ordered. Another two were burnt on the bottom. Now don't get me wrong, Insomnia cookies are good cookies, but I expected much higher quality for the price and the reputation that they have.
They need to get their act together and make sure that the little things are attended too. He got a craving for late night cookies and I wanted to make his birthday dreams come true. We ordered at pm and spent the next 90 minutes constantly refreshing the "track order" page to see when our cookies would arrive.
We live in town less than a mile away from the store. At in that amount of time, I could have mixed and baked two full batches of cookies, by the way , we finally decide to call and see where our cookies are. A less than friendly representative on the phone tells me our location is closed for deliveries "to catch up on orders. Are you kidding me?! First off, we should have never been allowed to order cookies for delivery if the store wasn't delivering.
Second of all, false advertising. You say you deliver until 3am?! Thirdly, no one from the store could bother to call us and let us know what was going on?
Fourthly, I understand that the person we talked to on the phone had no control over the situation, but there was no apology or compassion, and we got major attitude when we asked for a refund. This is a company that doesn't care about customer service. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a business in West Chester, and I have lived in the borough for 9 years.
We will not be ordering from here again, and good riddance. They wouldn't give me my cookie which in a bowl because of company policy. Bad company policy.
