Two week stay!! Nice older hotel. Was probably a great place to vacation back in the day. But now the vacationers are gone. Ok beds. But I am spoiled.
Clean bathrooms. And dinner is buffet and is not bad. Rooms were very reasonable. Close to down town. Cab was less than a dollar to downtown.

Great location but run down. The hotel is very well located, good for a couple of days stay. Staff is very pleasant and responsive. Breakfast choice is basic but bearable, sitting outside the bar is very pleasant in the evening. Reasonably clean. Date of stay: September Trip type: Traveled on business.

Graeme J wrote a review Dec Great Christmas Lunch. We have been staying at the hotel for some time due to work and asked the manager to provide a traditional Xmas lunch for 8. The lunch excellent, the food was cooked as requested and was very enjoyable, a side room of the main dining are was set up for us and the tables set up with special care.

Gabe's is a brand-new discount clothing store in this area, taking over the former Lowe's location. Gabe's occupies about half of the old Lowe's location, so the rest of it actually still has the Love the products and brands. Prices are usually pretty good too. Cannot deal with this specific location in Bear, DE never having more than 1 cashier at the busiest time of day. Annoyed to see
