Festive travellers with a sweet tooth can book to stay in an edible house this Christmas - complete with walls you can eat. The exclusive property, located in London's Soho is a homage to all things sweet, where guests can spend the night immersed in candy, chocolate, gingerbread and more.
Aptly named the Candy Cane House, the property accommodates up to two people who upon arrival will be able to nibble on the edible Christmas wreaths at the door at the front of the house, which has been decked out in a candy-cane inspired facade.
Once inside, guests will receive a complimentary hamper, complete with celebratory bubbles and a selection of confectionery favourites in the Candy Lounge. Here, large candy-style treats line the walls, and candy canes and edible baubles adorn the candy floss coloured Christmas tree.
Stepping stones of Christmas sugar cookies lead guests into the master bedroom, where guests will be immersed in a festive woodland, complete with delectable edible chocolate pine cones. The kitchen, a chocolate themed extravaganza will see guests inside a giant caramel chocolate, complete with melting chocolate walls and caramel flooring.

Of course, homemade candy canes require some time and energy, but everyone's amazement and delight will make the endeavor worthwhile. Like most hard sweets , candy canes call for a few basic ingredients: sugar, water, corn syrup, and some flavoring. The difficulty lies in boiling the sugar, then pulling the candy until it's stiff but pliable, and finally, forming it into the right shapes. Because molten sugar requires careful attention, you should read the whole recipe thoroughly and set up your work station before you embark on this project. As long as you use the right equipment and exercise caution, you'll have no trouble with this foolproof recipe.
