I stopped in to grab a treat for my wife's birthday, and picked some up for my son, as well. I happened to stop at this seemingly fun candy store today en route back from northwest Indiana. However, I was dismayed by its operation although the product is good, as most candy is. My two issues comprise the way I was waited on by the many youthful staff in a busy atmosphere. There was no smile or personal greeting, only a perfunctory greeting of "May I help you", etc.

Snedecor said the investment will allow the company to build two new production lines in its facility. City officials said there could be room for additional lines there. Snedecor said he has been amazed with the growth of Albanese, which has stimulated the economy by creating employment opportunities and helping surrounding businesses.

When Albanese sought the previous tax abatement, James Dragon, director of engineering at Albanese, said the company is appreciative of the support from the municipality. Without tax abatement, Albanese wouldn't have been able to move forward with the operations expansion. Wynright Corp. The company plans to hire manufacturing, engineering and administrative workers when it opens near the end of HOBART — City employees have developed a family-like relationship, and they want to be there for each other during their biggest times of need.
